15 B2B Marketing Tools for Better Processes & Positive Business Results

Post by chandonarani55 »

There are quite a few tools in B2B, but which ones actually help improve processes? And ultimately, positively impact business results? Here's my list of 15 must-have marketing tools for your B2B marketing tech stack in 2024.

As a marketing manager, you're always looking for the best tools to make your marketing more efficient, turn creative ideas into valuable leads, and ultimately generate more revenue. We're bombarded with marketing tools that promise results after just blinking. But more often than not, they disappoint.

Over the past few years, I've therefore kept a list of the tools that have actually helped me improve processes and, ultimately, have positively impacted business results.

What is a Targeted Email List? It's About Being Smart!

A targeted email list is a group of email addresses. These addresses belong to people who share something in common. Maybe they're interested in a specific product. Perhaps they live in a certain area. Or they might have bought from you before. The key idea is relevance. Instead of a general list, it's about sending the right message. This message goes to the right person. It helps db to data avoid wasting time. It also avoids sending unwanted emails. This makes your marketing much more effective. It's like having a special key for each lock.

We're bombarded with marketing tools that promise results after just blinking. But more often than not, they disappoint.

Over the past few years, I've therefore kept a list of the tools that have actually helped me improve processes and, ultimately, have positively impacted business results.

The basic tools

To start, there are a few basic tools I'm sure you already use, or at least have heard of. Your path to marketing success really begins with having these basic tools (and a few good marketers on your team at the controls, of course, but that goes without saying).

1. HubSpot: CRM, email marketing, workflows, and social media

Let's start with one of the most important basic tools, because the foundation of your entire marketing machine is, of course, a good CRM system. HubSpot is an all-in-one platform that offers essential features for B2B marketers.

With HubSpot, you can effectively manage your customer relationships, set up targeted email campaigns, create workflows, and easily manage all your social media accounts. Another great thing about HubSpot is that they offer a lot of support through their blog , HubSpot academy, online events, and their helpdesk. This last feature is especially useful if one of your colleagues has messed with the controls without asking and your workflows are broken. A good reason to properly configure your roles and permissions in the platform.

Costs: from €20.00 per month for starters.

Free trial available: yes.

2. Webflow: for sleek and fast websites

For marketers looking for sleek, fast, and SEO-friendly websites, Webflow is an excellent choice. This platform offers powerful tools for designing and building responsive websites without requiring in-depth technical expertise. This gives marketing teams more control over the creative process and reduces the time they spend waiting for designers.

It's important to set it up correctly the first time. This way, your marketing team can easily add blogs or create landing pages for campaigns themselves.

Cost: Starting at $14.00 per month.

Free trial available: yes.

3. Google Suite: email, document management, analytics, meetings
Ever heard of the emerging startup "Google" (sorry, a bit of a nitpick)? The Google Suite offers a wide range of tools essential for B2B marketing teams. With features like email, document management, analytics, and virtual meetings, the Google Suite empowers marketers to collaborate efficiently and make data-driven decisions.

I think this basic tool needs no further explanation and almost everyone already works with it.

Cost: Starting at $6 per month.

Free trial available: yes.

4. Slack: internal communication

Good internal communication, including internal marketing, is crucial to the success of marketing teams. Slack offers the ideal internal communication platform for easily sharing information and encouraging collaboration within teams.

By regularly sharing marketing updates, you keep the rest of the company constantly informed about what your team is working on. You can easily share your new blog, LinkedIn post, or customer story, and create subgroups for each marketing project. This ensures that your internal communication runs smoothly.

In addition, the tool offers numerous integrations, so you can, for example, receive a notification when your Google Meeting starts, a new product demo request comes in (via a HubSpot form), or when a website visitor with high potential is on the site (via Leadfeeder - more on that in tool 12).
