We all know that water heaters waste a lot of money, but unfortunately tankless water heaters come with a big cost. Luckily there are ways to reduce the amount of energy you spend by heating water and they’re fairly cheap. Make sure that your water heater is turned to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. It doesn’t need to be any hotter than this and it can save quite a bit in costs. Also, by adding an insulation wrap around the water heater as well as the hot water pipes, you can cut down on the amount of heat lost.
