Now, there is only one last step left.

This is where a lot of people tend to make a mistake. No matter how much content you produce and how good the content is, if your product or value isn’t showcased in the content, then you’re not doing content marketing. You’re just creating content.

So: look at the remaining list of keywords and think about their commercial value , how important your product is in solving a specific problem.

At Ahrefs, we give a score to indicate the potential value of a topic.

“ 3” —
“ 2” — Our product helps a lot, but it is not necessary to solve the problem;
“ 1” — Our product was only mentioned briefly (mostly for “brand awareness” rather than “sales pitch”);
“ 0” — Our product is not mentioned in any way.
We focus on topics with an extension score of 2–3 and never publish a topic with a score of zero.

You can follow this approach or create your own, but make sure the subject line naturally mentions how your product or service helps solve the problem.

NOTE: The process is much the same for video content.

Step 3: Create content
Now that you’ve narrowed down your list of high-potential topics and country email list created content around them, it’s time to move on to the content production itself.

Ultimately, producing content consistently is all about finding a balance between the quality of your content and the speed at which you can produce it.

Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to help you at this point - you'll need to experiment and discover your own best approach.

However, I have a handy tip: if you’re confused about how to expand on a particular topic, try using Ahrefs’ Content Gap tool to get some inspiration.

(In fact, I’ve heard members of our team already call it “magic.”)
