What is your day-to-day life like as a business facilitator?
A: The work of a business facilitator is very varied and intense! It works across multiple areas and is tailored to the specific needs of the entrepreneur. There are several roles to be filled. In my case, since I specialize in several disciplines, I can offer a fairly broad service, taking on several profiles that might be distributed across departments in a large company.
In a single week, I can be thinking about brand concepts and strategies, designing and polishing a presentation, coordinating suppliers, mediating during an international video conference, translating, or even assisting my entrepreneur at an event or meeting where I capture what they will need and thus connect with prospects, clients, business partners, and other key relationships.
What professional profile should a business facilitator have?
A: A business facilitator, in my particular case, must have a vocation for service, be multidisciplinary, and have a global mindset , so English is essential. In addition to knowing how to do and execute specific tasks, interpersonal skills also play a fundamental role. Supporting your entrepreneur in managing key relationships is part of the routine.
The goal is always the same: to help the entrepreneur by deploying skills, knowledge, and know-how. Oh, and a lot of courage. You have to be very brave because you'll be stepping out of your comfort zone very often . The type of entrepreneur I work with is very clear about what they want and loves to break the mold and conventions frequently. They're true hustlers who see possibilities where others only see problems or difficulties.
