Ahrefs and Yep , our search engine, adopted IndexNow earlier this year – a protocol that instantly alerts participating search engines of changes to a site.

Once a partner is notified, the information is shared with everyone else in near real-time. This helps Ahrefs in two ways:
1. Proactive Crawling: Continuous auditing uses IndexNow signals to prioritize crawling of important pages, to proactively detect critical SEO issues.
2. Faster Indexing: All changes detected by our Site Audit automatically student data notify other participants, ensuring your pages are indexed faster on multiple search engines simultaneously.
NOTE: Automatic submission to IndexNow
The automatic submission feature to IndexNow is available as an additional option to boost a project .

Alternatively, you can always manually submit pages to IndexNow by inserting the IndexNow API key – available in the project settings – into your site's root directory.
