Your training has focused mainly on digital marketing. Did you always know you wanted to work in this sector?
In a world as ever-changing as today's, on the brink of the digital revolution, one has to keep learning and developing. I'm a constant searcher; I'm a born nonconformist. You have to think in the medium term. Almost every week we see a new algorithm, a new tool, or a new update to the applications we use. I think ongoing training is becoming increasingly important.
You started working as a Community Manager and Social Media Manager for small businesses. What were these experiences like? What did you learn from them?
I'm not going to give up. It's true bahamas mobile database that there are many differences when compared to other countries, but domestic companies are realizing the added value of the digital landscape and are increasingly considering opening up to this world.
You subsequently worked for the ForTwo blog, a ticket-purchasing platform, writing articles and using SEO techniques. What were your daily responsibilities? What factors did you consider when writing these articles?
I had a lot of fun trying out some of their offerings and describing them with text and photos so the customer had a real-life experience of the products on offer. And I never missed someone to invite!
I used SEO techniques to position the article, although I have to say that a copywriter reviewed them, ensuring that the text was conveyed in a way that was familiar to the reader.
Shortly after, you decided to enroll in IM's Social Media Strategist and Community Manager courses . What motivated you to take them? What do you value most about them?
The opportunity to work on something you truly enjoy. I already used quite a few management tools on my personal social media.
What I value most about them is IM's personal and attentive approach. Returning to the classroom with such ease, allowing me to combine it with my work, and having such a positive, humane atmosphere.
